Israel’s Eurovision representatives from the past two years, Noa Kirel and Eden Golan, are nominated for the “Artist of the Year” award at the first-ever TikTok Israel Awards ceremony.

For the first time in Israel, on November 11th, the official TikTok Awards ceremony will take place. The event will honor selected content creators with awards in 10 different categories. Among the nominees for the “Artist of the Year” award is Noa Kirel, Israel’s representative and third-place winner at Eurovision 2023, alongside Eden Golan, Israel’s representative and fifth-place winner at Eurovision 2024.

The nomination of both singers for this award is reasonable since both artists achieved great success in Europe and, more importantly, brought significant honor to Israel, in Eurovision and after it. Additionally, both singers have been actively promoting their music careers through the TikTok app, including a collaboration between them.

Alongside Noa and Eden, three other candidates will compete in the “Artist of the Year” category. Each category is expected to have five different content creators vying for the win. The official voting for the awards ceremony opened recently and is scheduled to close on November 3rd, 2024. You can vote for Israel’s Eurovision representatives here.

Israel in Eurovision 2024

“Hurricane” is the name of the song performed by singer Eden Golan, who was chosen to represent Israel after winning the tenth season of “HaKochav Haba”. Israel advanced to the final after winning the second semi-final with 194 points, and in the grand final reached fifth place with 375 points. In the public vote, Israel came in second place, just 14 points behind the first place.

This is the second consecutive time that Israel has reached the top five, an achievement it had not attained since its streak of successes in 1998-1999.
