🇸🇪 Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2025
The Swedish National Selection for Eurovision 2025
Dates:
- First Heat: February 1, Coop Norrbotten Arena, Luleå
- Second Heat: February 8, Scandinavium, Gothenburg
- Third Heat: February 15, ABB Arena, Västerås
- Fourth Heat: February 22, Malmö Arena, Malmö
- Fifth Heat and Second Chance Round: March 1, Husqvarna Garden, Jönköping
- Grand Final: March 8, Friends Arena, Stockholm
Format: 30 songs will compete in the contest, divided into five heats. In each heat, six songs will compete, with the top two songs advancing directly to the final. The songs ranked third will move to the Second Chance round, from which two more songs will be chosen. In the heats, only public votes determine the results. The Melodifestivalen final will feature 12 songs in total. The winner will be determined by a combination of international jury votes (50%) and public votes (50%).
