About Us
Euromix is one of the most established, prominent, and comprehensive websites for Eurovision news, insights, and updates. Originally launched in 2001 by Avi Zaikaner, the site resumed full operations with a renewed vision in 2019. Euromix offers a reliable, original, and regularly updated source of information for anyone interested in the Eurovision Song Contest, available in both English and Hebrew.
The site was initially launched in Hebrew with a mission to make the world of Eurovision and European music accessible to Hebrew speakers. It aims to deliver swift, professional, and fact-based information tailored for the Israeli audience, which in the past relied solely on English-language sources.
In the following years, Euromix expanded to include an English-language section as well, providing reliable, timely, and original content for Eurovision fans and anyone seeking accurate information about the competition.
Since 2019, the site has operated on an expanded scale, with daily coverage of all Eurovision-related events—from early pre-selection stages to the grand final. Coverage includes exclusive analyses, expert commentary, forecasts, statistics, and diverse musical history.
Disclosure Statement and Editorial Perspective
Acknowledging the complex political nature of Israel’s participation in Eurovision—especially in light of recent years’ challenges connected to the ongoing war in Israel—Euromix maintains coverage from an Israeli and local point of view. Nonetheless, the editorial team avoids raising overt political questions with artists and contestants, except in cases where they have voluntarily addressed such issues in the past.
Close Cooperation with Eurovision Institutions
Euromix collaborates closely with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and with national broadcasters across Europe, including the Israeli public broadcaster (KAN). Every year, the Euromix team is invited to closely follow the national selection processes in various countries, receives official press accreditation for the Eurovision Song Contest, attends related events and official parties, and conducts interviews with top artists and contestants from across the continent—an extraordinary achievement for an independent and large-scale Israeli media outlet.
Audience, Reach, and Achievements
In the Eurovision 2025 season, Euromix recorded 1.33 million users and 4 million page views. During the 2024 season, the site received 1.03 million unique visitors and 3.5 million page views.
These impressive statistics position Euromix as one of the leading Eurovision websites globally.
Our Dedicated Team
The Euromix team consists of approximately 20 professionals—writers, editors, field reporters, digital content creators, video and social media editors—all with strong backgrounds in music, media, and Eurovision. Many team members are recognized as expert commentators and are often invited to appear on Israeli and international media platforms.

EditorEmail: [email protected] Phone: +972-50-9441919
Maor Heumann has been writing about the Eurovision Song Contest and following it for over three decades. He has attended five contests and has found something to appreciate in almost every possible musical genre — from the sugary pop entries that finish last in the semi-finals to the quirky avant-garde pieces that even the competition’s juries struggled to connect with. He usually prefers original languages and songs with depth over Swedish-produced English clones — though he doesn’t promise to stick to that rule.
He grew up on the kibbutz of Sara’le Sharon, who instilled in him a love for music and created his first connection to the contest back in 1993 — before most of the current editorial team was even born.
