Preparations for Eurovision 2027 in Bulgaria are officially underway, and the list of participating countries is taking shape. While everyone awaits official announcements about each nation’s representatives, we have decided to get ahead of the curve and spotlight the artists who deserve to compete. This time, we reveal the acts that must represent Latvia, Finland, and Austria in the upcoming event. Below is the list of artists for whom the Eurovision Song Contest is the ultimate platform and exposure.

The Ludvig:
The Ludvig, or by his real name Jēkabs Ludvigs Kalmanis, is a Latvian musician and singer who broke into national consciousness in 2017 at just 16 years old. This initial breakthrough came thanks to his debut single “I’m in Love With You“. The song reached second place in the final of “Supernova” (the Latvian Eurovision national selection) that year and nearly was chosen to represent Latvia at Eurovision.
Over the years, he continued to release music, such as the song “Stars Collide” in 2018, but he recently returned to the radar of Eurovision fans. The artist re-entered the spotlight when he returned to Supernova with the song “Līgo“, which combined Latvian folk music with a modern sound and production. The song was the clear favorite to win the local selection, but following the live performances, Tautumeitas captured the hearts of viewers, ultimately winning and representing Latvia in the contest while securing its best result in the competition since 2015.
Patrisha:
Patrīcija Ksenija Cuprijanoviča, better known by her stage name Patrisha, is a Latvian singer, songwriter, and radio personality born on June 25th, 2001. Patrisha was born in Riga to a family of Belarusian, Russian, and Ukrainian descent, and has been involved in singing since childhood. Her musical talent stood out especially during her school days when she sang in a choir. She later studied at the “Star Island” children and youth creative studio, and from the age of 11 participated in over 60 singing competitions in Latvia and other countries, including Poland, Ukraine, and Malta.
She experienced her initial publicity at the Ukrainian competition “Moloda Halychyna”, where she won second place at just 15 years old. In January 2023, it was announced that she would compete in Supernova with the song “Hush“, aiming to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Liverpool. Patrisha was one of the clear favorites to win but ultimately had to settle for second place once again.
Kautkaili:
Kautkaili is a Latvian band featuring musicians Kristīne Pāže, Didzis Bardo, and Krists Krūskops. The band’s musical style is based on a blend of 1990s Latvian alternative pop and international soul music paired with a modern sound. In November 2023, the band released their debut album, “Personas kods“, which earned a nomination for the “Golden Microphone” award in the Pop Album of the Year category, alongside a nomination for the prestigious “Austras Balvas” music award.
In addition, the band participated for three consecutive years in the “Muzikālā banka” competition with the songs: “Vēl vienu reizi“, “Ļauj man” and “Palaid vaļā“. In November 2025, the band registered for the Latvian Eurovision national selection “Supernova 2026” with the song “Te un Tagad“, reaching second place in the final. In March of that same year, the group performed the song “Piestāv tev” at the “GAMMA” music awards ceremony.
Madara:
Madara, or by her original name Madara Fogelmane, is a Latvian cellist, singer, and songwriter born in 1992 in Jelgava, Latvia. The singer composes intuitive and deep music inspired by spiritual worlds. Her unique sound combines the warmth and depth of the cello with expressive vocals, creating an empowering and unique experience.
Many Eurovision fans know her from her participation in the “Supernova 2018” national selection with the song “Esamība“. Madara won first place in the second semi-final but ultimately had to settle for third place in the grand final. Many do not know this, but the singer returned to the selection stage in 2025 as part of the duo Sinerģija, competing with the song “Bound By The Light“. The duo advanced to the final and ultimately finished in ninth place.

Minttu:
Minttu Merike Suo, performing under the stage name Minttu, is a young Finnish singer and the daughter of famous Finnish singer Lauri Tähkä. Minttu burst onto the Finnish pop scene with particularly impressive speed. Her debut single, “Paperihaavoja“, jumped straight to 28th place on Spotify’s most-played songs chart, accumulating over 1.5 million streams. The song also quickly climbed the radio charts in Finland, landing among the top 15 most-played songs in the country.
Her single “Tyttöystävä” became the biggest hit of her career so far, cementing Minttu’s status as one of the newest and most refreshing voices in the contemporary Finnish pop scene. Minttu presents modern, punchy, and uncompromising pop that is very well suited to the coveted contest.
Benjamin:
Niclas Benjamin Peltonen, known by the stage name Benjamin, is a Finnish singer and songwriter born on April 15th, 1997, and is 29 years old. He broke through with his debut single, “Underdogs“, released on September 8th, 2014, which reached tenth place on the official Finnish singles chart.
Later in his career, on January 11th, 2023, Benjamin was announced as one of the seven participants in the Finnish national selection “Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2023” with the song “Hoida mut“. Benjamin competed in one of the strongest years, if not the strongest year, of the Finnish selection. That year, the icon Käärijä won with the hit “Cha Cha Cha“, which many Eurovision fans remain convinced should have won over Loreen and “Tattoo“. The following year, Benjamin returned to the selection stage, but this time as a host rather than a competitor.
Goldielocks:
Behind the stage name Goldielocks stands Finnish singer-songwriter Ella Mäntynen, born in 2001. Based between Finland and Berlin, she cultivates a career aimed at the international pop market. Goldielocks’s musical style combines organic elements of pop-rock bands with a modern, glittering pop production featuring a striking visual aesthetic, making her one of the most interesting young promises in today’s contemporary Finnish pop scene.
She gained wide recognition and a significant breakthrough when she participated in the Finnish national selection “Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025” with her successful upbeat pop song “Made Of”, with which she finished in a respectable second place.
Evelina:
Evelina, whose real name is Eveliina Tamminen, is a Finnish singer born on May 27th, 1995, and is 31 years old. Evelina is one of the most successful and well-known pop and R&B singers in Finland in recent years. She began her journey in the local music industry by participating in various seasons of musical reality shows like “The Voice of Finland” and “Idols”, where she drew the attention of the Finns thanks to her special voice and stage presence.
Her big breakthrough came in 2015 with a double debut single that included “Rakkaudesta lajiin” and “Vuoristorataa“, and since then she has become a household name in the country, conquering the Finnish charts with a string of hits such as “Tornado“, “Honey“, and “Kylmii Väreitä“.

Felicia Lu:
Felicia Lu, a native of Salzburg, Austria, was born on December 15th, 1995, and is 30 years old. Her primary genre is dark pop. She participated in the German national selection in an attempt to represent Germany at Eurovision twice: the first time in 2017 in the selection then called “Unser Song 2017” with the song “Dancing On My Own“, and the second time in 2022 in the national selection “Germany 12 Points” with the catchy song “Anxiety“, which made her a prominent and particularly beloved favorite among Eurovision fans. In 2017, Lu was eliminated in the very first stage, but in 2022 she was the clear favorite to win, ultimately having to settle for fourth place.
Lu operates as a completely independent indie artist who writes, produces, and creates her own visual vision, maintaining a loyal global fanbase with millions of streams. Her breakthrough came when she reached the final of the talent show “Rising Star” in Germany in 2014, exposure that paved the way for an impressive solo career including dozens of singles and acclaimed EPs like “Lovers To Strangers” and “Dear Karma“. She deserves to represent Austria at Eurovision due to her cohesive artistic vision, dark sound, and ability to bring a modern, punchy pop creation to the stage that immediately appeals to an international audience.
Frevd:
The band Frevd, named after Sigmund Freud, an Austrian-Jewish psychologist and neurologist, is a new rock band on the Austrian scene. The band burst into consciousness thanks to their participation in the Austrian national selection “Vienna Calling 2026 – Wer singt für Österreich?” with the song “Riddle“. When the selection songs were revealed, Eurovision fans were disappointed by the lackluster quality of the local selection.
The band’s song was a diamond among the other entries. The group presented a metalcore song blending dark melodic pop that could entirely stand out in the contest. The song builds gradually and maintains a sort of mystery and secrecy, in accordance with the song’s title – “Riddle“. Many thought the song would win the local selection, but Cosmo ultimately won with his song “Tanzschein“.
Lunea:
Lunea is a singer and songwriter born in Austria, though a significant portion of her professional development and studies took place in Germany. The artist combines modern classical elements with a dark, dreamy synth-pop production.
Lunea released her first single in 2022, when she joined the welovemelodies project to release the song “Wonderland“. Since then, Lunea has continued creating music and has already released ten different singles, with her latest single being “Echo Underwater“.
Visions Of Atlantis:
Visions of Atlantis is a prominent Austrian symphonic metal band founded in 2000 in the town of Styria. The band is known worldwide for combining heavy guitars and rich symphonic arrangements with a visual concept of pirate stories, maritime adventures, and ancient mythologies, as reflected in their successful albums like “Wanderers” and “Pirates“.
Musically, the band has stood out over the years with a unique vocal duet structure combining male and female voices, featuring lead vocalists Michele Guaitoli and Clémentine Delauney. Thanks to consistent activity, performances on major stages across Europe, and acclaimed albums, the band has become one of the primary ambassadors of modern symphonic metal on the international scene.
