Days before the Croatian entry, LELEK, is set to take the stage at at the Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna, Austria, a health scare has emerged. Performing third in the first semi-final, band member Judita Štorga announced via TikTok that she is currently battling medical issues, specifically a bout of laryngitis that has left her without a voice.

In the uploaded video, she is seen lip-syncing to the lyrics of the song “Andromeda” while holding various boxes of medication in both hands. The caption of the video reads: “POV: Eurovision is in a week and I have no voice.”

Croatia at Eurovision 2026

“Andromeda” is the song that will be performed by the band LELEK, which will represent Croatia as song number 3 in the first semi-final on May 12th, in Vienna, Austria. The song was written by Tomislav Roso, with music by Filip Lacković, Lazar Pajić, and Zorja Pajić. This is the creators’ first song in the competition. The song will be performed entirely in Croatian.

Currently, Croatia is ranked 16th on the betting odds ahead of Eurovision 2026.
