“Superstar” lights up the Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna as Senhit and Boy George deliver one of the competition’s most colorful and visually explosive rehearsals so far.

The second rehearsal clip of San Marino’s Senhit alongside music icon Boy George performing “Superstar” on the Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna, Austria, stands out without question and feels unlike any other rehearsal revealed so far. Boy George, who was recently reported to have briefly returned to his home in London, appeared on stage once again in a look that is already generating major attention among fans online.

Performing 13th in the semi-final, Senhit returned to rehearsals wearing a completely different outfit from the one seen during her first run-through. This time, she appeared far more comfortable and confident, perfectly matching the glittering and colorful atmosphere of the performance, easily one of the most joyful stagings revealed in recent days. Combined with Boy George’s charisma and backing presence, “Superstar” is shaping up to be one of the performances audiences will be waiting for.

San Marino’s Second Rehearsal: More Details

The short rehearsal clip released from the San Marinese delegation focuses on the final section of the song, where Boy George performs his lines together with Senhit while surrounded by the vibrant lighting teased earlier in official rehearsal photos. On camera, the colors appear even brighter and more intense. The entire stage feels like a massive illuminated party explosion — vivid, energetic, and celebratory.

Mirrors cover large parts of the staging, while the spotlights have been programmed to shine in rainbow colors, illuminating not only the artists but also the audience inside the arena. The light reflects across the mirrored elements, creating a striking visual effect that amplifies the atmosphere even further. Another wide shot in the video reveals the full colorful staging as pyrotechnics erupt across the outer arch and edges of the stage.

Alongside the dancers, two glowing crystal walls can be seen reflecting the colorful stage lights. The dancers themselves are dressed in shiny silver outfits, creating an almost mirrored illusion against the reflective set pieces behind them.

Senhit also unveiled a completely new costume for the second rehearsal: silver flared trousers paired with a futuristic top seemingly crafted from metallic silver coils decorated with circular mirrors. Boy George, meanwhile, swapped the black outfit from the previous rehearsal for an extravagant silver ensemble expected to become one of the most talked-about looks of the season featuring a silver-fringed blazer, metallic straps and layered silver details, topped off with a reflective metallic hat that looks as though it was assembled from shattered mirror pieces.

The entire visual concept leans heavily into disco glamour and futuristic camp, turning the San Marinese performance into a full-scale celebration of color, reflection, and spectacle. With its bold styling choices, massive lighting effects, and the long-awaited on-stage collaboration between Senhit and Boy George, “Superstar” is quickly becoming one of the most visually memorable entries of Eurovision 2026.

San Marino at Eurovision 2026

Superstar” is the title of the song that will be performed by Senhit, who will represent San Marino as song number 13 in the first semi-final on May 12th in Vienna, Austria. This marks the third time Senhit will compete in Eurovision, following her previous representations for San Marino in 2011 and 2021. In 2020, she was also selected to perform for San Marino, but her participation was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The song was written and composed by Senhit and Boy George, whose participation alongside Senhit in the contest is still surrounded by some uncertainty, together with several songwriters who have previously written Eurovision hits: Anderz Wrethov, Thomas Stengaard, Kill J, John Emil Johansson, and Jonathan Bellini. The song is performed entirely in English.

Eurovision 2026: This will be San Marino’s 16th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. San Marino joined the competition in 2008 and achieved its best result in Eurovision 2019 when the singer Serhat finished in 19th place with the song “Say Na Na Na”.
