Armenian singer Simon took to the Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna, Austria, for his second rehearsal, bringing an energy that is difficult to ignore. Armenia’s second Rehearsal: More Details
Elevator Madness
Armenia provided a particularly intense glimpse into the second rehearsal. The footage begins at the start of the song, “Paloma Rumba“, showing an elevator opening to reveal Simon and five dancers as the camera focuses on them. The artist is dressed in a jacket adorned with numerous sticky notes, each featuring different writings and drawings. He wears gray trousers that match the dancers, who are dressed in short-sleeved shirts with yellow ties and glasses.
Throughout the clip, he demonstrates excellent vocal stability alongside high-energy choreography that introduces a sense of absolute chaos and “madness” inside the elevator, where he and his dancers perform together. After the initial focus, the camera continues to move rapidly, providing dynamic angles from the ceiling and from the opposite side of the elevator.
Strategic Chaos on the Vienna Stage
Following the display of exceptional choreography and synchronization with the dancers, Simon signals for the camera to follow him. He exits the elevator with his back to the audience, revealing the full stage illuminated by a multitude of white lights. Even during the opening segment inside the elevator, the lights are seen flashing in sync with the song’s rhythm.
Armenia is clearly aiming to deliver the strongest performance possible. It remains to be seen if this well-ordered mess will be sufficient to earn the country a qualifying ticket to the Grand Final.
