At this stage, it remains unclear what Sarah’s first rehearsal will look like — or whether she will really have to appear “in pajamas,” as she jokingly told her followers.
At the peak of rehearsal week, while all delegations are already in Vienna and preparations are in full swing, Sarah Engels landed in Austria excited and emotional ahead of her Eurovision journey. Many fans gathered to welcome the German delegation, which has already become one of the fan favorites of the season.
However, amid the excitement, Sarah shared an unexpected update on her personal Instagram account, revealing that the suitcase containing “all the costumes” and “such important things for Eurovision” never arrived with her destination luggage.
The singer explained that the airline lost the suitcase, and that it is still unclear how she will handle the situation just before stepping onto the Eurovision stage for the first time. In the Instagram Story she tried to keep a sense of humor, but also made clear how serious the issue is:
“If I’ll perform in pajamas, please don’t judge me.”
