Eurovision trophy 2026 on stage

The second semi-final of Eurovision 2026 has concluded. Ten countries have successfully navigated the first hurdle to secure their spots in the Grand Final.

After months of preparations and rehearsals, the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna reached its conclusion this evening. Following a tense night and the aggregation of public votes from across the globe, the final ten countries secured their places in the Grand Final, scheduled for this Saturday. These qualifiers join the ten nations that progressed from the first semi-final held on Tuesday,




The Ten Qualifiers From The Second Semi-Final (Announced in Random Order):

The Path to the Trophy

The Grand Final of Eurovision 2026 will take place this Saturday, May 16th, featuring 25 nations competing for the trophy. The 20 qualifiers from both semi-finals will meet the “Big 4” – Italy, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom – along with the host nation, Austria. Notably, Spain withdrew from the competition this year following the confirmation of Israel’s participation.

Eurovision 2026: the 70th edition of the contest will take place in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026. The Wiener Stadthalle arena, which will host the event, is expected to accommodate around 16,000 spectators per show. The contest returns to Austria following the nation’s third historic win with the song “Wasted Love”, performed by JJ. It will be Austria’s third time hosting Eurovision, after previous editions held in the country in 1967 and 2015.
