Eva Marija:

Eva Marija, or by her real name Eva Puc, 21 years old woman, is a Luxembourgish singer with Slovenian roots. At the age of 3, Eva Marija fell in love with the violin thanks to Eurovision 2009 winner Alexander Rybak. Since then, she has studied in musical programs at the Luxembourg Conservatory.

Alongside the violin, she studies singing, piano, and bass guitar in a variety of styles, from jazz and classical to pop-rock. Eva Marija was born and raised to Slovenian parents and feels connected to both cultures. Today, she is studying songwriting in London.

“Mother Nature”:

The song “Mother Nature” deals with an inner journey of growth, healing, and reconnection with oneself through nature. The singer looks back at her past, at the innocent beginning when the “seed was planted,” and acknowledges that even good things change and come to an end. In the face of storms, doubts, and questions of identity, she finds stability in the forces of nature: in the earth, in roots, in the wind, and in the cycles of life.

Images of taking root in the mud, howling to the wind, and the renewed blooming of leaves express self-acceptance, release from guilt, and the understanding that healing comes from a deep connection to one’s natural essence. The repetition of the line “Mother Nature, she knows” emphasizes trust in a greater, quiet, and wise power—one that knows when to wound and when to heal, and teaches that identity is not fixed but an ongoing process of growth.

Lyrics of “Mother Nature”:

From the start
When all was fun and games
Wasn’t hard
But all good things can end

Back when I was younger
I planted a seed under the moonlight
And even when there’s thunder
I go back when I wonder, who am I?

From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back

Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows

Mother Nature, she knows

See the leaves
How they grow back again
And I heal
And learn to love myself again

Even when there’s thunder
Oh I don’t have to wonder, who am I?

From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back

Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows

Oh, oh, oh…
(Mother Nature, she knows)
Mmm…
Mother Nаture, she knowѕ
