Germany’s Eurovision 2025 representatives, Abor & Tynna, canceled their performance at Madrid’s pre-party due to Tynna’s ongoing laryngitis, following their use of playback at the Amsterdam event.

Abor & Tynna, Germany’s representatives at Eurovision 2025 with the song “Baller” (translated as “Shooter”), have canceled their scheduled performance at the upcoming “PrePartyES 2025” in Madrid. The cancellation comes as Tynna continues to recover from laryngitis.

This is not the first time Tynna’s health has impacted the duo’s Eurovision journey. During the pre-Eurovision event in Amsterdam, “Eurovision in Concert,” Tynna performed with full playback to avoid straining her voice. Unfortunately, her condition still does not allow for a live performance.

Official Statement from Abor & Tynna

The duo announced the cancellation via an Instagram story on their joint account, explaining that Tynna’s health prevents them from participating in the event:

“We’re really sad to say that we won’t be able to perform at the Madrid pre-party. Tynna is still recovering from laryngitis and even though she’s getting a lot better, her voice needs a bit more time to fully heal.

We’re heartbroken to miss another amazing Eurovision event and to not see you all there.
Your support means the world to us and we want to make sure we’re 100% ready to give you our best – especially on that big stage in Basel.

Thank you for understanding, and for all the love and kind messages you’ve been sending.
We feel it all.

Love,
Abor & Tynna”

Germany at Eurovision 2025:

“Baller” (translated as “Shooter”) is the song that will be performed by Abor & Tynna, representing Germany at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The duo will perform their song for the first time in the second semi-final on May 15. However, since they represent a sponsoring country, they automatically advance to the Grand Final, which will take place on May 17. The song was written by the singers themselves along with Alexander Hauer and is performed in German. This marks the creators’ first Eurovision entry.

The song “Baller” presents a deep and complex emotional journey of the narrator, who is grappling with pain and emotional breakage following a breakup.

Currently, Germany is ranked 22nd in the betting odds for Eurovision 2025.
