Satoshi, Moldova’s representative for Eurovision 2026, revealed in an interview that his song “Viva, Moldova” will undergo changes before the competition.

Satoshi, who was selected to represent Moldova at Eurovision 2026, set to take place in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, revealed in a recent interview that his Eurovision entry, “Viva Moldova“, will undergo a revamp ahead of the competition. He added that changes will also be made to the staging in order to “present the strongest and best possible version of the song on the Eurovision stage”.

Satoshi explained that preparations for the European version of the song began immediately after his victory in the national selection. He noted that a professional creative team is already working to refine every detail from the musical arrangement to direction and choreography. He emphasized that the goal is to deliver a powerful stage performance that combines authentic Moldovan energy with modern production, capable of resonating with audiences across Europe.

The singer admitted that the level of public support he received came as a major surprise, particularly given that this marks his first-ever participation in a music competition. In a moment of openness, he shared:

“This is the first time I’ve participated in a music contest. I’m self-taught, but I love music madly and, more than that, I love the place I come from, the culture, the people, and I truly believe that we have something to offer the world and Europe. We have wonderful people, full of heart, talent, and unimaginable inner wealth. I want to thank everyone for the support and trust both the juries and the audience who voted for us”.

As part of Moldova’s renewed commitment to Eurovision, the Moldovan national broadcaster TRM, has allocated Satoshi a budget of one million Moldovan lei (approximately €50,000) to support preparations for the competition’s 70th edition.
