Luxembourg at Eurovision 2026: Eva Marija will perform “Mother Nature” on the Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna. Listen to the song.
“Mother Nature” is the title of the song that will be performed by Eva Marija, who will represent Luxembourg at Eurovision 2026, to be held in Vienna, Austria, in the second semi-final on May 14.
The song was written by Eva together with Thomas Stengaard, who has been responsible for many Eurovision songs, including the winning entry of Eurovision 2013, “Only Teardrops”; Maria Broberg, who was among the writers of Poland’s 2023 entry “Solo” and Moldova’s 2019 entry “Stay”; and Julie Aagaard, who co-wrote the UK’s 2025 song “What The Hell Just Happened,” Austria’s 2024 entry “We Will Rave,” and Malta’s 2022 song “I Am What I Am.” The song is performed in English.
The Luxembourgish final was held tonight at the Rockhal Concert Hall in the city of Esch-sur-Alzette, hosted by Hana Sofia Lopes, Raoul Roos, and Loïc Juchem. The winner was chosen through a combination of a jury vote (50%) and a public televote (50%). Eva managed to reach the top and overtake other clear favorites such as Luzac and Daryss.
Eva’s performance begins in near-total darkness. She is lying on the floor, which slowly fills with color. She is dressed in a simple gray dress. Orange colors spread across the stage, and the spotlights flash blue. In the chorus, Eva stands up; behind her is a tree with a blue trunk and orange leaves. In the second verse, the LED screens fill with blue and orange trees. Toward the end of the song, she plays the violin.

Lyrics – “Mother Nature”:
From the start
When all was fun and games
Wasn’t hard
But all good things can end
Back when I was younger
I planted a seed under the moonlight
And even when there’s thunder
I go back when I wonder, who am I?
From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
See the leaves
How they grow back again
And I heal
Then learn to love myself again
Even when there’s thunder
I don’t have to wonder, who am I?
From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots, in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
Oh, oh, oh…
(Mother Nature, she knows)
Mmhmm…
Mother Nаture, she knowѕ
