Eden Golan will perform at an anti-antisemitism event in the United States, to be held in Washington D.C. Who are the big names from the global entertainment industry that will perform alongside her?

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an American pro-Israel lobby, is hosting its annual event honoring heroes who have taken a stand against antisemitism. This year’s event will take place on November 18 in Washington, D.C. Eden Golan, Israel’s representative at Eurovision 2024, whose song has become one of the anthems of recent times in Israel, will perform at the event alongside big names such as Ben Stiller, Sia, and Scooter Braun, accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of the United States.




Star-Studded Lineup: Ben Stiller, Scooter Braun, and Sia

The event will be hosted by Jewish actor and comedian Ben Stiller, who has expressed support for the families of hostages throughout the war and criticized the actions of the Hamas terrorist organization in a special column he wrote for TIME magazine. As part of the event, music producer Scooter Braun will receive an award for creating the “6:29” exhibit of the “Nova” music festival in New York and Los Angeles. Braun has also spoken out over the past year for the release of hostages and even visited Israel, touring the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.

International Australian singer Sia will also perform at the high-profile event. Although she has not previously spoken publicly about the ongoing war in Israel, she attended the “6:29” exhibit in Los Angeles as a gesture of solidarity and empathy towards the people of Israel.

Lastly, Eden Golan, who has become one of the symbols of the war and Israeli advocacy in the past year due to her participation in Eurovision 2024. Since completing her role as Israel’s representative in Malmö, Golan continues to perform in Israel and around the world with her Eurovision song, meet with families of hostages, and engage with Jewish communities. Among other appearances, she performed at the UN memorial ceremony commemorating the October 7th massacre with the song “October Rain,” which was initially disqualified by the European Broadcasting Union before its new version, “Hurricane,” was approved.




Israel in Eurovision 2024

“Hurricane” is the name of the song performed by singer Eden Golan, who was chosen to represent Israel after winning the tenth season of “HaKochav Haba”. Israel advanced to the final after winning the second semi-final with 194 points, and in the grand final reached fifth place with 375 points. In the public vote, Israel came in second place, just 14 points behind the first place.

This is the second consecutive time that Israel has reached the top five, an achievement it had not attained since its streak of successes in 1998-1999.

Eurovision 2024: This was Israel’s 46th participation in Eurovision. Israel joined the competition in 1973 and has won it four times over the years. Israel’s last victory was at Eurovision 2018 with the song “Toy” performed by singer Netta Barzilai.
