Sweden’s Eurovision Pre-Party Melfest WKND Dates Revealed Along with Tickets Sale Opening Date!

As part of the preparations for Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, Eurovision pre-parties are being organized across Europe, as they are every year. These events feature current contest participants, past representatives, and national finals contestants from previous years. Today, plans for two nights of parties in Stockholm, Sweden, were revealed, coinciding with the final weekend of Sweden’s national final, Melodifestivalen 2025. The tickets sale date has also been announced.




Swedish Melfest WKND Pre-Party

Following the tradition established in 2020, two main parties will take place leading up to the Swedish national final:

  1. The pre-party on Friday, March 7, held the evening before the Melodifestivalen final, will host Eurovision artists from previous years.
  2. The main party on Saturday, March 8, will commence immediately after the final concludes.

These events are organized by the Swedish Eurovision fan club, Melodifestivalklubben OGAE. General ticket sales will begin on November 11, while early sales for OGAE members have already started. As of now, there is no information available regarding the guests and artists who will participate in these events this year.




Anticipated Parties for the 2025 Season

Beyond the events in Sweden, several other Eurovision-related parties are scheduled in various countries leading up to Eurovision 2025:

  • March 22: Nordic Music Celebration in Oslo, Norway
  • March 27-29: Barcelona Eurovision Party 2025 in Barcelona, Spain
  • April 5: Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • April 11-13: Manchagen in Manchester, United Kingdom
  • April 17-19: PrePartyES in Madrid, Spain

Eurovision 2025: This will be Switzerland’s 65th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Switzerland joined the competition in 1956, being one of the seven founding countries, and has won three times over the years. Its most recent victory was at the last Eurovision in 2025, with Nemo’s song “The Code.” This win follows Switzerland’s previous victory in 1988 with the song “Ne partez pas sans moi,” performed by international singer Céline Dion.
