Two Eurovision 2024 contestants, Aiko and Kat Almagro, jointly submitted a song to the Spanish Eurovision pre-selection, Benidorm Fest, for 2025. Aiko, who represented Czechiac with the song “Pedestal” in Eurovision 2024, and Kat Almagro, the drummer for the Spanish band Megara who represented San Marino with the song “11:11,” disclosed after Eurovision has ended that they are in a relationship. The couple even had aspirations to represent Spain together in the next Eurovision.
However, their song, “Mi Amor,” was not selected for the Benidorm Fest. Following the announcement of the selected songs for the festival, Aiko shared a short snippet of “Mi Amor” on her TikTok page.

Song Lyrics and Significance
In the song, Aiko sings: “My love, my love, I love the curves of your body. No man can love me the way you love me.” The song reflects the relationship between the two, who met during Eurovision 2024, fell in love, and started dating.
Benidorm Fest Selection Process
For the Benidorm Fest, the selection committee of the Spanish national broadcaster chose 16 songs to compete. These songs will participate in two semi-finals and a grand final, where the winning song will be selected through a combined vote of judges (50%) and the general public (50%).

Czechia in Eurovision 2024
Aiko represented Czechia in Eurovision 2024 with the song “Pedestal.” The song was selected through a national final. Aiko did not advance to the grand final, finishing in 11th place in the semi-final with only 38 points.
Eurovision 2025: This will be Georgia’s 17th participation in Eurovision. Georgia joined the competition in 2007 and achieved its best result in Eurovision 2010 and Eurovision 2011 after finishing ninth twice.
