Noa Kirel, Israel’s Eurovision 2023 representative, and Maya Buskila, a finalist in Israel’s 2019 Eurovision selection, have released a new rendition of a beloved and iconic Eurovision song! Listen to the track now.

Noa Kirel, who represented Israel at Eurovision 2023, has teamed up with singer Maya Buskila, a finalist in Israel’s “The Next Star for Eurovision” 2019, to release a fresh version of the song “Biladecha” (“Without You”). This track is itself an adaptation of the Spanish Eurovision hit “Dime,” originally performed by Beth in 2003. The Hebrew lyrics were translated by Doron Medalie, while the new production was crafted by Asi Tal.

The song “Dime” was one of the favorites to win Eurovision 2003 but ultimately placed eighth. Despite this result, it remains a cherished classic among Eurovision fans, often regarded as one of Spain’s best entries in the competition’s history.

The music video for Kirel and Buskila’s version utilized advanced AI technology, marking it as one of the first large-scale productions of its kind in Israel. The release date for the song was strategically chosen to promote Noa Kirel’s upcoming concert at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv on April 14, where Maya Buskila will also make a guest appearance.

Israel in Eurovision 2023:

Noa Kirel was selected through an internal process to represent Israel at Eurovision 2023 with her song “Unicorn”. She advanced to the Grand Final after finishing third in the first semi-final with 127 points. In the Grand Final, she achieved third place overall with 362 points—177 from the juries (second place) and 185 from the public vote (fifth place).

This marked Israel’s best result since its victory in 2018 and one of its top achievements in the past three decades. It was also the eighth time Israel finished in the top three at Eurovision.
