Germany in Eurovision 2025: Duo Abor & Tynna took the stage for their second rehearsal with the song “Baller”. Stay updated with all the reports from Basel, Switzerland

The German siblings Abor & Tynna were the tenth act to rehearse today on the Eurovision 2025 stage with her song “Baller“. They will perform in the second semi-final on May 15th between song number 14 (Israel) and song number 15 (Serbia), and in the grand final to be held on May 17th.

In the released video, the beginning part of the song is shown. Abor plays an electric cello outlined in white neon. He sits at the front of the main stage. Behind him, a white sheet drops, revealing two large speakers with a raised section with a railing and what looks like stairs at the back.

It resembles a boombox, and between the two speakers there’s something that looks like an equalizer in turquoise neon lighting. Tynna stands on the structure and sings, wearing a black outfit that includes boots, shorts, a tank top, and a large black glove. There is smoke on the stage, colored by the turquoise lighting. The graphics on the screens have an industrial feel and look like cages made of black metal. The lighting includes flashes and turquoise lights that move in sync with the song’s rhythm.

Germany at Eurovision 2025: More details about the rehearsal performance

The performance is completely different from the community center vibe of the German national final. The feeling is industrial and cold, yet dynamic. The choice of turquoise strengthens the atmosphere and even takes us a bit into the realm of science fiction. It seems that Abur and Tania wanted to transport us to a Berlin culture reminiscent of a rave in an abandoned factory. The modern cello definitely fits the mood, and maybe they won’t break it this time-it looks expensive. On the other hand, Germany performs only in the final, so they won’t need it for another performance.

According to the photos, the back screen will turn completely white at a later stage, and the song title “Baller” will be written in large letters. It looks like more dancers will join, and Tania and Abur will switch places-he will move to the top of the boombox, and she will come to the front of the stage.

Germany at Eurovision 2025:

“Baller” (translated as “Shooter”) is the song that will be performed by Abor & Tynna, representing Germany at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The duo will perform their song for the first time in the second semi-final on May 15th. However, since they represent a sponsoring country, they automatically advance to the Grand Final, which will take place on May 17th. The song was written by the singers themselves along with Alexander Hauer and is performed in German. This marks the creators’ first Eurovision entry.

The song “Baller” presents a deep and complex emotional journey of the narrator, who is grappling with pain and emotional breakage following a breakup.

Currently, Germany is ranked 17th in the betting odds for Eurovision 2025.
