Sam Ryder announces his new album, “Heartland”, set for release on October 17th. Simultaneously, he unveiled a new single today, “The Feeling Never Went Away”.

The Space Man Sam Ryder, United Kingdom’s representative at Eurovision 2022, reveals he will release his second album “Heartland” on October 17th, 2025! The album will feature 13 songs, offering listeners a glimpse into Sam’s personality and inner world. One of the tracks included in the album, “The Feeling Never Went Away” was released this morning on various streaming platforms.




Speaking about the album, Sam shared:

“This album is a collection of songs that tries to convey the feelings of the past two years. The wish is to find a connection with you, no matter where you are in the world, whether it’s flying high or feeling like you’re the only ship out on the ocean.If you’re navigating the pain of forgiveness and the weight that comes with holding onto resentment, if you’ve lost confidence in yourself and you’re trying to find a way back to your spark, spirit and hope, this is for you. Let your heart lead. I’m with you in every step”.

Sam discusses in his album various mental struggles and the healing process of breaking certain cycles that have affected his life experiences he went through over the past year. “Even when I felt I had beaten them, they returned”. Now, Ryder is preparing for the biggest solo show of his career so far, which will take place at Wembley Arena in London on November 6th.

Who Is Sam Ryder?

Sam Ryder Robinson is a 36-year-old English singer, songwriter, and music producer. He began his career in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, when he posted cover versions of popular songs on the TikTok app. His breakthrough came after representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2022 with the song “Space Man,” which won second place. This was Britain’s best result since Eurovision 1998.

Since then, he has performed at celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II of England’s accession. He has released several songs, received nominations for various awards, and even released his debut album “There’s Nothing but Space, Man!”.




United Kingdom at Eurovision 2025

The song “What The Hell Just Happened?” was performed by the girl group Remember Monday, representing the United Kingdom at Eurovision. The group finished 19th in the Grand Final with 88 points – all from the juries. While the juries ranked the group 10th, the public gave the Unoted Kingdom zero points, placing the song last.

Despite the United Kingdom’s storied Eurovision history, in the past 25 years, it has managed to reach the Top 10 only three times – in 2002, 2009 and 2022.

Eurovision 2025: This was the 67th participation of the United Kingdom in Eurovision. The United Kingdom joined the competition in 1957 and has won it five times over the years. The United Kingdom’s last victory was in Eurovision 1997 with the song ‘Love Shine A Light’ performed by the band ‘Katrina and the Waves’.
