The manager of Måneskin, the internationally successful winners of Eurovision 2021, announced the band’s reunion for live performances in the last quarter of 2025! What caused the comeback?

Måneskin, winners of Eurovision 2021 with the song “Zitti E Buoni” (in English: “Shut Up and Behave”), is expected to reunite soon after suffering heavy financial losses following the group’s split and the pursuit of solo careers. The band’s manager, Alessandro De Angelis, father of bassist Victoria De Angelis, confirmed that the group plans to return to the stage in the last quarter of 2025, ahead of a full tour in 2026. Alessandro also acts as CEO of Måneskin Empire Srl, which owns the Måneskin brand rights.

Sharp Financial Losses for Måneskin’s Music Company

This announcement follows the loss of first place in the Italian music company rankings by the firm that holds the group’s music rights. The decline resulted from the temporary break-up of band members Damiano DavidVictoria De AngelisThomas Raggi, and Ethan Torchio.

The split translated into a steep drop in the revenues of Måneskin Empire Srl. In 2023, while the band was fully active, the company peaked with revenues of €18.6 million. However, in 2024, the figures collapsed: revenues plunged to just €8.5 million – less than half. Even after cutting expenses, net profit fell to only €423,000 – a third of the prior year. Additionally, the company’s liquid assets shrank drastically – fourfold.

Who Earned More from Their Solo Project?

Following the split, vocalist Damiano David and bassist Victoria De Angelis both sought new independent musical paths, launching solo projects in 2023. Each established their own independent rights management company.

Contrary to expectations, Victoria’s solo career proved far more profitable:

  • Victoria’s company, Davic Srl, recorded €1.84 million in revenues in 2024, with a net profit of €167,000.

  • Damiano’s company, Humans 23 Srl, earned just €1.2 million with a modest net profit of €15,000 – ten times less than Victoria.

These figures are especially surprising given Damiano’s solo album “Funny Little Fears”, released in May, which achieved considerable success with singles like “Born With a Broken Heart” and “Next Summer”. Both singles topped international charts and gained tens of millions of plays across digital platforms. Victoria, in contrast, is considered less prominent internationally, having released only five singles to date. In these works she does not serve as the lead vocalist; her primary contribution is as a composer and producer.

This news about Måneskin’s reunion and return to live shows comes after Damiano stated in past interviews that “a reunion requires rest and authenticity” and would only happen if all band members genuinely wanted it, not due to external pressures. Given the latest data revealing his weaker solo profits, the question arises: Is Damiano genuinely agreeing to reunite for the heartfelt reasons he expressed before, or did financial pressures ultimately tip the scales?

Italy at Eurovision 2025

Volevo essere un duro” (in English: “I Wanted to Be Tough”) is the song performed by singer Lucio Corsi, which came second at the 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival. The song was written by the singer himself along with Tommaso Ottomano. This was the singer’s first-ever appearance at the festival. The song is performed in Italian. The song finished fifth in the grand final with 256 points.

Italy returns to the Eurovision Grand Final Top 5 after last year achieving “only” seventh place.

Eurovision 2025: This was Italy’s 50th participation in Eurovision. Italy joined the contest in 1956, was one of the seven founding countries, and has won three times over the years. Italy’s most recent victory was at Eurovision 2021 with the song “Zitti e buoni” performed by the band Måneskin.
