Australia at Eurovision 2025: The unveiling of the Australian representative and song for Eurovision 2025 will take place next Tuesday, February 25, as reported on the official Eurovision website.

Australia is one of the few countries that have not yet disclosed their representative or song for Eurovision 2025. After prolonged anticipation, it has been confirmed that the artist and song will be presented on February 25 at 19:00 CET. This information was shared through the official Eurovision.tv calendar, which provides weekly updates on upcoming Eurovision events. In the days leading up to the announcement of the unveiling date, Australia slightly climbed the betting charts and is currently placed 19th with a 2% chance of winning, compared to 22nd place just a few days ago.

Only two days ago, we reported, according to a statement on the Greek Eurovision site, Eurovisionfun, that the singer who will likely represent Australia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel is none other than Go-Jo, a pop singer known for his original songs and cover performances.

Who is Go-Jo?

Go-Jo, or by his real name Marty Zambotto, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and producer known for his original songs and guitar cover performances of other songs. His musical style is described as guitar-based pop and indie. At the beginning of his career, he focused on writing and producing songs for other singers until he began creating for himself as well.

He started his independent career in 2016 with his debut single “Nobody Like You” and has since continued to accumulate millions of views for his various performances. This includes a cover of the song “Iris” that gained significant success on Spotify and his latest released song “Cry About” which was warmly received by listeners.




Australia in Eurovision 2024

Australia was represented by Electric Fields with the song “One Milkali (One Blood)“. The duo performed in the first semi-final, finishing 11th with 41 points, narrowly missing qualification for the grand final.

Eurovision 2025: This will be Australia’s 10th participation in Eurovision. Australia joined the competition in 2015 and got its best result at Eurovision 2016 when singer Dami Im got second place with her song “Sound of Silence”.
