Norway’s Eurovision 2025 representatives, Kyle Alessandro, held his first rehearsal in Basel with the song “Lighter“. Stay tuned for all updates from Switzerland.
Kyle Alessandro, Norway’s representative, is the first act to rehearse today on the Eurovision 2025 stage with his song “Lighter“. Kyle will perform as song number 8 in the first semi-final, scheduled for May 13th.
Kyle appears wearing a striking armor costume, which sparked discussions due to its resemblance to the outfit of Armenia’s representative Parg, but he chose to keep the armor and renew it with his own version. Regarding the dancer lineup, this time there are three dancers instead of four as in the MGP, and one of them performs an impressive breakdance at the end of the performance. The show is accompanied by fire pyrotechnics similar to those in the MGP performance.

Stage Design
The giant LED screens display graphics of mountains in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere, connecting to the prominent mountain motif featured this year in the contest.
One of the most notable upgrades is a mobile lighting system installed on the ceiling of the stage, which descends during the second part of the song. At the quiet moment following the dance section, Kyle stands center stage with hundreds of focused spotlights on him-creating a powerful and impressive visual moment that elevates the performance to a particularly high level.
