Theo Evan, Cyprus’ Eurovision 2025 representative, is the fifteenth and last act to have his second rehearsal today on the Eurovision 2025 stage with his song “Shh“. Theo will perform as song number 15 in the first semi-final, scheduled for May 13th.
It appears that expectations for Cyprus have not disappointed. At the start of the published video, singer Theo is suspended in the air on metal towers, performing precise choreography with his team of dancers in a manner reminiscent of the “Vitruvian Man”, the figure on which the song is based. Near the end of the video, Theo jumps to the floor and continues singing flawlessly. The performance is impressive, Theo’s vocals are highly successful, and the curiosity to see the full act is immense!
The dramatic rehearsal features two scaffolding towers on stage, with the performance beginning as Theo and two dancers create silhouettes of a figure that will later appear on stage. This figure is the very one Theo sings about, revealed as the “Vitruvian Man”. Throughout the act, the scaffolding towers are repositioned to form various shapes, adding dynamic movement to the set.
Theo and four dancers execute a perfectly complex choreography, moving up and down the towers. The performance is full of energy, with Theo never resting for a moment.
During the act, dynamic and changing lighting is used to convey drama. The show begins with black and white lighting, then shifts to red and black, and finally returns to black and white. At the end, all dynamic movement and lighting stop, Theo takes a deep breath, and the stage dramatically fades to darkness. In terms of costumes, Theo and the dancers wear black vests and pants, contributing to the performance’s striking visual identity.

Cyprus in Eurovision 2025
“Shh” is the title of the song that will be performed by Theo Evan, representing Cyprus as song number 15 in the first semi-final of Eurovision 2025, set to take place on May 13th in Basel, Switzerland. The song was composed by the Greek composer Dimitris Kontopoulos, who has written, produced, and composed 18 Eurovision songs to date. The song was written by Linda Dale and Lasse Nymann who co-wrote and produced the winning Eurovision 2024 song “The Code” alongside the Norwegian singer-songwriter Elsie Bay. The song is sung in English.
The song describes the mysterious identity who is known for its beauty and external traits. It seems to be caught in a cycle of excessive self-assurance, which could lead to its downfall. The lyrics reflect the internal struggles, with emotions such as love, desire, and jealousy pulling in different directions. It’s caught between the extremes of heaven and hell, representing her internal conflict. The song portrays this character as someone torn between the highs of life and the lows, deeply affected by her emotional journey.
Cyprus is currently in 12th place in the betting odds for Eurovision 2025.
