The Ukrainian national broadcaster, Suspilne, today published the list of artists competing in “Vidbir 2026”, battling for the ticket to Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

The Ukrainian national broadcaster, Suspilne, revealed today (Monday) the identities of 15 competitors for “Vidbir 2026”, and released previews of the songs. This marks the official start of the Eurovision season in Ukraine, ahead of the 2026 contest that will be held in Vienna, Austria.

Among the competitors are several familiar names:

    • Jerry Heil – Represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2024 alongside Alyona Alyona with “Teresa & Maria”, finishing third in the grand final. Jerry also competed in the national selection in 2023 and 2021.

    • Monokate – Represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2020 and 2021 as a member of the band Go_A, which placed fifth in 2021.

    • Olena Usenko – A member of the band The Elliens and former Junior Eurovision representative with “Vazhil”, placing sixth.

    • KHAYAT – Participated in the Ukrainian national selection in 2025 with “Honor”, finishing fourth, and in 2020 with “Call for Love”, placing second.

    • Karyotype – Competed in Vidbir 2024 with “Sadness”, but did not qualify for the final.

    • LAUD – Took part in the 2018 selection with “Waiting”, ending in fourth place.

    • MOLODI – Finished second in Vidbir 2025 with “My Sea”.

    • MON FIA – Competed in 2025 with “Dive Inside”, though did not advance to the final.

Suspilne also clarified how Ukraine’s Eurovision 2026 representative will be selected. Out of the 15 participating acts, nine songs will advance directly to the final. The list of finalists will be announced by December 15. The remaining six artists will face an online public vote, from which one more song will join the finalists. That final contestant will be announced on January 15, bringing the total number of grand final entries to ten.

Vidbir remains one of the most anticipated national selections across Europe, drawing considerable attention from Eurovision fans eager to discover who will represent Ukraine at the 2026 contest.


Ukraine at Eurovision 2025

“Bird of Pray” is the name of the song that was performed by Ziferblat, representing Ukraine in Eurovision 2025. Ukraine qualified for the final from the first semi-final of the contest and finished 9th overall with 218 points. Ukraine finished 6th in tele-votes and 14th in jury votes.

The Ukrainian result is their worst one since 2018.

Eurovision 2026: This will be Ukraine’s 21st participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Ukraine joined the competition in 2003 and has won it three times. Ukraine’s last victory was in Eurovision 2022 with the song “Stefania” performed by Kalush Orchestra.
