Justyna Steczkowska, Poland’s representative in Eurovision 2025, hinted in a new interview that she may consider returning to the contest in the future. Will she represent Poland once again?

Justyna Steczkowska, who represented Poland at Eurovision 2025 with the song “Gaja“, hinted in an interview that she may represent Poland again in the future. She returned to Eurovision 30 years after first appearing in the 1995 contest in Dublin, Ireland with the song “Sama” (in English: “Alone”). Although she finished 24th in the jury vote, she placed seventh in the public vote and ultimately came in 14th in the grand final in Basel.

The Public Loved Her – The Jury Less So

In an interview for Magda Mołek’s YouTube channel, Steczkowska admitted she was initially concerned about public reaction upon returning to Poland but was overwhelmed by a wave of support:

“I admit I was a little afraid to come back to my country, […] You think to yourself: oh dear, it’s going to be hard to handle. But somehow you manage. Then I come back to Poland – and it’s just madness. So much love, so much support… Everyone said it wasn’t fair. […] In my opinion, at least as far as the jury results are concerned, it really wasn’t fair. But the fact that I managed to unite a politically divided nation, even for five minutes of performance – that was simply the greatest joy I could have asked for. The biggest success”.

Third Time’s a Charm?

When asked where she sees herself in the next decade, Steczkowska gave a surprising and delightfully bold answer that thrilled her fans:

“I plan to go to Eurovision at 65. With the same team”.

With humor but also sincerity, the singer added that she hopes in 20 years she will still be able “to lift myself up on stage” without the harness support she used during her recent performance.

If Steczkowska does represent Poland once again, she will join the select group of Eurovision artists who have competed more than twice for their country, and be the first artist to represent Poland for the third time. Will we see her back on the Eurovision stage? Time will tell.
