Justyna Steczkowska:
Justyna Steczkowska is a Polish singer, one of the biggest in the country. Justyna began her career in 1994 on the Polish show “Szansa Na Sukces” (translated as: “Chance to Succeed”), and in 1995 she won the Baltic Countries Song Festival and represented Poland at Eurovision with her song “Sama”.
Justyna broke a record with this comeback to Eurovision after the longest time – 30 years!
“GAJA”:
The lyrics of “Gaja” deal with power, creation, love, and time, using the figure of Gaia, a personification of Earth in ancient cultures, primarily known from Greek mythology. Gaia is presented in the song as a supreme force, a divine entity connected to all life and time in the universe. The song describes Gaia as a person feeling betrayed and directing her emotions towards the world – that the world itself can “sink” in her tears.
