Listen: Luxembourg‘s national broadcaster has released the songs that will compete in the national final, ‘Luxembourg Song Contest 2026′. The Luxembourgian representative for Eurovision 2026 will be chosen on January 24
The Luxembourgian national broadcaster, RTL, revealed today the 8 songs of “Luxembourg Song Contest 2026”, scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026. The winner of this competition will represent Luxembourg at Eurovision 2026, to be held in Vienna, Austria.
Among the participants there is a former contestant who was especially loved by the fan community!“Luxembourg Song Contest 2026” will once again take place at the Rockhal arena on January 24th, 2026.

These are the eight contestants:
Luzac
The most recognizable name among Eurovision fans — Luzac also participated in the 2025 pre-selection with the song Je Danse (in English: “I Dance”), finishing third. The singer-songwriter discovered his passion for music at age nine after watching “High School Musical”. In recent years, he has written and composed for others, and in 2021 released his debut single “J’y arriverai”. Since he participated in “Luxembourg Song Contest 2025”, Luzac has collaborated with several Luxembourgish artists and performed live numerous times. Alongside his musical career, he works as an educator specializing in psycho-educational development.
Hugo One
He began singing in his school choir and never stopped. Alongside his classical education, Hugo One has already performed across Luxembourg — from the Philharmonic Hall to the Luxembourg Pride Parade. His music blends pop, soul, and disco. Outside of music, he works as an event manager.
ShiroKuro
The pop-rock trio ShiroKuro hails from Liège and released its first EP, “In Sight”, in 2022. Members Matthias Policino, Nathan Polisse, and Louis Kowalyn from Luxembourg met at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, where two completed master’s degrees in modern composition and the third specialized in percussion. Later, they gained professional experience in concert organization, artist management, and music production. On stage, Louis plays guitar and piano, Matthias drums, and Nathan sings and plays violin.
Eva Marija
At age three, Eva Marija fell in love with the violin thanks to Alexander Rybak. Since then, she has studied at the Luxembourg Conservatory, learning not only violin but also singing, piano, and bass guitar, in genres ranging from jazz and classical to pop-rock. Born to Slovenian parents, she embraces both cultures. She is currently studying songwriting in London.
Steve Castile
Steve Castile discovered his love of music through a piano app on his iPod, teaching himself to play. For 15 years, he has played piano and guitar while devoting time to writing and producing music. Eight years ago, he also began singing. Alongside his music career, he holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is completing a master’s in information and communication sciences in Freiburg.
Daryss
Coming from a family of actors, Daryss studies at the Conservatory for Performing Arts in Mons. Since childhood, she has been enchanted by storytelling through acting, singing, and dance. After numerous plays and musicals, she is now focusing on her original music. She runs a studio offering theater courses for children and adults, and also helps at her family’s restaurant.
Irem
With classical training in music theory and jazz dance from the Luxembourg Conservatory, Irem performed in the project “College in Concert” and several musicals before turning to her solo career. Her debut EP “Look At Me” was released in 2023, followed by “Diamonds & Birkins” in 2025. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in physics in Vienna.
Andrew The Martian
Self-taught in all aspects of music, Andrew The Martian says it represents “the language of emotions”. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the special bond between artist and audience. Born in Portugal, he has lived in Luxembourg for the past decade, dedicating himself fully to music.
Selection Committee
. A professional panel of five judges selected the participants from 83 submitted entries: the Norwegian singer-songwriter Elsie Bay, Icelandic producer Gisli Berg, Swedish Eurovision 2024 producer Karin Gunnarsson, French lyricist and playwright Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, and British Eurovision commentator Paul Jordan.
“Luxembourg Song Contest 2026” will be held on Saturday, January 24th, at the Rockhal concert hall in Esch-Sur-Alzette, Luxembourg — the same venue that hosted the “Luxembourg Song Contest” in 2024 and 2025.
The third edition of this contest will maintain the same format as in previous years: contestants will perform live before a studio audience, competing for both jury (50%) and public (50%) votes. The winner will earn the coveted ticket to represent Luxembourg at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria.
Luxembourg in Eurovision 2025
“La poupée monte le son” (in English: “The Doll Turns Up the Sound”) is the title of the song performed by Laura Thorn, who represented Luxembourg at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Luxembourg qualified for the final from seventh place in the semi-final with 62 points and finished 22nd in the final with 47 points – 23 from the jury and 24 from the public.
Eurovision 2026: This will be Luxembourg’s 40th participation in Eurovision. Luxembourg joined the competition in 1956, was one of the seven founding countries, and has won it five times over the years. Luxembourg’s last victory was at Eurovision 1983 with the song “Si la vie est cadeau” performed by singer Corinne Hermès. In 2024, Luxembourg returned to the competition after a 31-year absence.
