The investigation deepens: New allegations emerge against Slimane, with a second complaint filed for sexual assault within three weeks!

French singer Slimane, who represented France in Eurovision 2024, is once again at the center of a legal storm. Just three weeks after the first complaint of sexual harassment was filed against him, a second and more severe accusation has surfaced, this time for sexual assault and attempted sexual assault. This new development raises questions about his professional future, especially after he was recently crowned “French Artist of the Year” at the NRJ Music Awards and gained international recognition by securing fourth place in Eurovision with his song “Mon Amour“, which earned platinum status in France.

The controversy began with a complaint filed by a technician who worked with Slimane during his tour. According to the complaint, the 35-year-old singer allegedly harassed the technician at a party following one of his performances. It is claimed that Slimane pinned the technician against a wall and later sent him sexually explicit and even pornographic messages and videos. Following the first complaint, an initial investigation was launched into allegations of sexual harassment, exacerbated by the use of digital communication platforms.

The second complaint, filed on November 18, describes alleged incidents that took place at the same party, which was attended by technical crew members and the singer backstage after his performance at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne concert hall. This complaint was submitted by a 33-year-old lighting technician employed by the production company managing the tour.

The lighting technician alleges that during the party, Slimane approached him on the dance floor and made offensive sexual remarks. According to the technician, the singer touched him against his will. The technician claims that only the intervention of Slimane’s brother prevented the situation from escalating further.

The complaint also alleges that Slimane’s brother instructed all attendees to delete any videos documenting the incident. Despite these efforts, the technician and some of his colleagues demanded to terminate their contracts with Slimane immediately. The employees allege that the production company attempted to downplay and obscure the severity of the situation.

The public prosecutor of Saint-Étienne has officially announced the launch of an investigation following the second complaint, intensifying the scrutiny surrounding the Slimane affair. While the singer’s entourage has remained silent and has yet to respond to the new allegations, these accusations cast a significant shadow over his career. As the investigation progresses, additional details are expected to emerge that could further shake the music industry. One thing is already clear: this controversy is not just a legal matter but a scandal that will leave a lasting mark on Eurovision 2024 and Slimane’s standing on the international stage.
