The first semi-final in Lithuania is behind us: two contestants advanced to the grand final of the Lithuanian Eurovision pre-selection, which will take place on February 15th.
The semi-final stage of the Lithuanian Eurovision pre-selection “Eurovizija.LT”, kicked off today! Nine artists competed tonight for two spots in the final. The results were determined by public voting (50%) and jury voting (50%). The semi-final took place at the LRT national broadcaster studios in Vilnius, hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian, Augustė Nombeko, and Rimvydas Černiauskas.
Qualified to the final: Justė Baradulinaitė and Anyanya.
Results of the First Semi-Final:

- Ramūnas Zilnys – Music critic, radio show host, and Eurovision commentator for Lithuanian television.
- Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano – Singer and songwriter.
- Leonas Somovas – Singer and music producer.
- Ieva Narkutė – Singer and songwriter.
- Unė Liandzbergytė – Radio host on Lithuanian radio.
45 contestants will participate in the Lithuanian Eurovision pre-selection. Similar to Melodifestivalen, this year’s format spans six broadcasts – five semi-finals and a grand final.
Each semi-final will feature nine songs, with two songs advancing to the final from each show, selected through a mix of public votes (50%) and jury votes (50%). Additionally, the judges’ scores for each show will only be revealed at the end, to prevent influence on the viewer voting.

- The Grand Final – Saturday, February 15th, 2025, in Žalgirio Arena, Kaunas.
Lithuania at Eurovision 2024
“Luktelk” (“Wait”) is the song performed by singer Silvester Belt that represented Lithuania in Eurovision 2024, after winning the local national selection. The song advanced to the grand final and finished in 14th place with 90 points.
This marks the fourth consecutive time that Lithuania has qualified for the grand final of the competition.

Eurovision 2025: This will be Lithuania’s 26th participation in Eurovision. Lithuania joined the contest in 1994 and achieved its best result in Eurovision 2006 when the band “LT United” finished in sixth place with the song “We Are The Winners.”
