Watch tonight at 17:30 CET as Ukraine’s Eurovision national selection “Vidbir 2025” airs, choosing the country’s representative and song for Eurovision 2025. A link for viewing is provided.
Tonight at 17:30 CET, Ukraine’s Eurovision national selection “Vidbir 2025” will take place, culminating in the selection of the representative and song for Ukraine at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Ten contestants will compete, with the winner chosen by a combination of 50% public vote and 50% jury vote. In case of a tie, the public vote will be the deciding factor.
The final will begin at 17:30 and continue until 21:30.

The selection will be hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko, Masha Efrosynina, and Vasyl Baidak. Miroshnychenko was one of the hosts of Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv, hosted Junior Eurovision in Ukraine in 2009 and 2013, and has been Ukraine’s Eurovision commentator since 2007. Efrosynina hosted Eurovision 2005 in Kyiv. Miroshnychenko and Efrosynina have been married since 2003.The jury panel for the national selection includes:
- Jamala: Eurovision 2016 winner with “1944“, judging for the seventh time, receiving 35.28% of the votes.
- Serhiy Tanchynets: Lead singer of BEZ Limitations, judging for the second consecutive year, receiving 20.24% of the votes.
- Kateryna Pavlenko: Lead singer of Go_A, who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2021, receiving 11.84% of the votes.
Several guest performances by Ukrainian Eurovision participants are scheduled, including Tina Karol, Ruslana, Jamala, and Artem Kotenko. The Badstreet Boys will also perform.
Who are the Favorites?
There are two favorites to win tonight, FIЇNKA and Masha Kondratenko. FIЇNKA leads among our website visitors and will perform the song “Kultura”. Interestingly, among the Euromix editorial team members, Masha Kondratenko was chosen, who will perform the song “No Time to Cry”. Kondratenko leads in Spotify listens and is second after FIЇNKA in YouTube views. Ziferblat may also surprise as they are third in YouTube views, and last year they reached second place in the national selection.

Among the pre-selection contestants are several familiar names
- Ziferblat – Competed in last year’s Ukrainian Eurovision pre-selection, finishing second with their song “Place I Call Home“.
- KHAYAT – Participated in the 2020 Ukrainian Eurovision pre-selection with his song “Call for Love“, finishing second.
- FIЇNKA – Competed in the 2023 Ukrainian Eurovision pre-selection, finishing fourth with her song “Dovbush“.
Ukraine in Eurovision 2024
Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Teresa & Maria.” The duo won the Ukrainian national selection “Vidbir 2024” and finished third in the Eurovision final with 453 points.
Their entry is notable for being the first since 2002 to place in the top 5 while performing second in the running order, a position traditionally considered challenging in Eurovision statistics.
Eurovision 2025: This will be Ukraine’s 20th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Ukraine joined the competition in 2003 and has won it three times. Ukraine’s last victory was in Eurovision 2022 with the song “Stefania” performed by Kalush Orchestra.
