Princ took to the “Pesma za Evroviziju” stage dressed in a black suit with a unique texture that revealed his arms, filling the stage with charisma and emotion. He sang from the heart throughout the song. The atmosphere during the performance was very touching and heartfelt. The song deals with feelings of intense love and the accompanying pain, with the lyrics describing feelings of longing, shared memories, and a deep connection that persists despite difficulties and distances.

The song offers a look at how we struggle to maintain love amid feelings of abandonment and emotional betrayal, highlighting the effort to hold on to relationships that sometimes feel nearly impossible to maintain. It also presents the internal conflict the main character faces between the desire to stay with his loved one and the realization that there are many reasons to let go. The song conveys the message that not always are the hardest things to let go of the ones we need to give up; sometimes, in giving up, true love and the depth of the relationship are revealed.

The singer won the Serbian “Pesma za Evroviziju” held last night (Friday) and competed against 15 other contestants, where Princ came in third place in the home audience vote and second place in the jury vote.

Lyrics – “Mila:”

Neka bude mi
To zadnja večera
Nek oko Kerbera
U noć me potera
Nek te probudi
Taj miris sećanja
I moja muzika
Od tvoga imena

Mila
Ti si platila što volim te ja
Mila
Život vratila sa ruba
Ima mnogo razloga da
Ipak voliš drugoga
Al’ tako mi je stalo da te čuvam

Ovaj život je
Bez zrna šećera
Od kada ne je da
A vera nevera
Nek te poljubi
Ko bolje slaže te
A nek te dobije
Ko rizikuje sve

Mila
Ti si platila što volim te ja
Mila
Život vratila sa ruba
Ima mnogo razloga da
Ipak voliš drugoga
Al’ tako mi je stalo da te čuvam

Mila
Ti si platila što volim te ja
Mila
Život vratila sa ruba
Ima mnogo razloga da
Ipak voliš drugoga
Al’…
Tako mi je ѕtalo da te čuvаm
