The Maltese national broadcaster, PBS, revealed today further details about its selection process ahead of Eurovision 2026, which will take place in Vienna, Austria. Here are all the new details about “MESC 2026”.
The Maltese national broadcaster, PBS, has announced today (Tuesday) the complete schedule for Malta’s selection process for Eurovision 2026, to be held in Vienna, Austria. Malta will select its entry through “MESC 2026,” which will run across two televised shows – a semi-final and a final, to be held on January 15th and 17th, 2026. Additionally, Malta has published details regarding the selection process leading up to the shows, including an updated and more streamlined format, as well as the various phases leading up to the national final.

Another change is in the number of songs expected to compete – while 16 songs participated in last year’s final, this year only 12 songs will make it to the grand final.
