Lelek and Go_A unveil an unexpected collaboration, with the upcoming track set to feature a distinctly Ukrainian sound.
Croatia’s Eurovision 2026 representatives, Lelek, and Ukraine’s Eurovision 2021 stars, Go_A, who finished fourth at Eurovision 2021 with the song “Shum”, have announced a brand-new collaboration in a move that few Eurovision fans saw coming.
The partnership brings together two acts strongly associated with contemporary Eastern European folk influences, creating considerable excitement among fans of ethnic and alternative music across the Eurovision community.
A Ukrainian-Language Release on the Way
The upcoming song from Lelek and Go_A is expected to be performed in Ukrainian, a language that aligns far more naturally with Go_A’s signature Eastern European folk-electronic style than the Balkan Croatian language.
The decision is likely to give the project a distinctly Ukrainian character while allowing Lelek to explore musical territory beyond the sound that Eurovision audiences became familiar with during Croatia’s 2026 campaign.
What Role Will Go_A Play?
Based on the short teaser released so far, it remains unclear whether Go_A will perform directly on the track or if the Ukrainian group is involved solely in the song’s production and creative development.
What appears certain, however, is that the collaboration is already generating significant anticipation among fans of ethnic and folk-inspired music. With two of Eastern Europe’s most recognizable Eurovision-related acts joining forces, the release is expected to attract considerable attention across the region and among followers of the genre worldwide.
