The Azerbaijani national broadcaster, İTV, revealed today that the band Mamagama has been chosen to represent Azerbaijan in Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The official announcement was made on the broadcaster's Instagram page and on the official Eurovision contest page. Azerbaijan is scheduled to compete in the second half of the first semi-final on May 13th. The selected song is expected to be unveiled during February. A committee from the national broadcaster received 154 songs, with approximately 49% written by local composers and 51% by foreign writers.
