The song was written by the singer herself, along with Chris Chordz, Line Spangsberg, Malthe Johansen, Linnea Deb, who wrote among others the winning song at Eurovision 2015, “Heroes“, Marcus Winther-John, who wrote the songs for Andorra at Eurovision 2009 and Cyprus at Eurovision 2023, and Melanie Wehbe, who wrote the songs for Denmark and the UK at Eurovision 2019, Sweden at Eurovision 2020 and Denmark at Eurovision 2024. Apart from Deb, Winther-John and Wehbe, this is the first song by the writers to compete in Eurovision. The song is performed in English.
