Tonight at 20:15 CET, Germany will host “Das deutsche Finale 2026”, at the end of which, the country’s entry for Eurovision 2026which will take place in Vienna, Austria — will be selected. The show will be held at Studio Berlin Adlershof in Berlin, Germany, and hosted by Barbara Schöneberger and Hazel Brugger, who also co‑hosted Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.

Nine artists will compete in a two‑stage format. In the first stage, an international jury of 20 music experts from 20 participating countries will determine the three finalists. In the second and final round, the decision will be entirely in the hands of the German public, who will choose who represents Germany in the prestigious contest.

The final will begin at 20:15 and continue until 23:15 CET.

According to YouTube viewership data, Sarah Engels leads the way with her song “Fire”, surpassing other contestants with approximately 319,000 views. In second place is Ragazzki with the song “Ciao Ragazzki”, accumulating around 262,000 views, while Laura Nahr ranks third with her song “Wonderland”, at about 237,000 views.

The same trend appears on Spotify. Sarah Engels once again leads with roughly 630,000 streams. She is followed by BELA with the song “Herz”, reaching around 283,000 plays, and MYLE in third place with the song “A OK”, totaling approximately 277,000 streams.

Germany at Eurovision 2025

“Baller” (in English: “Shooter”) is the title of the song performed by duo Abor & Tynna, who represented Germany at the Eurovision 2025. The pair finished 15th in the Grand Final with a total of 151 points. The public televote ranked them 11th, while the professional juries placed them 13th.

This marks the second consecutive year in which Germany has achieved a relatively successful Eurovision result, avoiding the bottom of the scoreboard. Last year, singer Isaak secured 12th place in the Grand Final with his song “Always on the Run”.

Eurovision 2026: This will be Germany’s 69th participation in Eurovision. Germany joined the competition in 1956, was one of the seven founding countries, and has won twice over the years.
