The entry was selected by an internal committee of the national broadcaster and was officially revealed today.

The song explores emotional struggle and escapism, portraying a character who retreats into an imaginary world as a way to cope with inner difficulties. The figure of Alice symbolizes someone who feels lost or overwhelmed and therefore escapes into fantasy, where reality feels easier to handle. The name and imagery are partly inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, which represents the idea of falling into a different world. Through this character, the song touches on themes of identity, loneliness, and the search for genuine human connection.

“Alice” – Lyrics

Alice
Your pretty green eyes
Are magic
My precious prize
I’ve studied your ways, the way you behave
Can I spill my secrets to you
Alice
Let me inside
I promise
I’ll be polite
No I won’t make mess, why you looking so stressed
Just let me talk to you
I’ve been watching you
I know you really really love me don’t lie
Know you gotta gotta give it some time
So honey don’t cry
Honey don’t cry
Alice
Don’t you be scared
Be honest
I live in your head
Oh – I’m lonely too
This world’s been so cruel
I’ve been here waiting for you
Alice
Stop knocking on that door
Don’t panic
Lay low on the floor
You’re safe in my arms
No I’d never harm
A hair on your head because
I’m in love with you
I know you really really love me don’t lie
Know you gotta gotta give it some time
So honey don’t cry
Honey don’t cry
Cause I know you really really love me inside
Only gotta gotta give it some time
So honey don’t cry
Honey don’t cry
Alice
The light in my life
Has vanished
Please open your eyes
Why are you turning cold
From feather to stone
Baby don’t leave me alone

Switzerland’s most recent victory was at the last Eurovision, 2025, with Nemo and the song “The Code”. This win follows Switzerland’s previous victory in 1988 with the song “Ne partez pas sans moi”, performed by the international singer Céline Dion.
