San Marino launches a new docuseries  hosted by Eurovision 2026 representative Senhit, following preparations for Vienna, featuring past contest stars, personal stories, and performances from across Europe.

As Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria, approaches in about a month and a half, preparations are reaching their peak. Ahead of the competition, it has been announced that San Marino has decided to invest in promoting the event by launching a new musical television project with a strong European identity. The program, titled “Pop Road to Eurovision” will be broadcast on the San Marinese national broadcaster, RTV. This marks the first international musical documentary series of its kind, featuring prominent European artists and beloved Eurovision stars from the past.

Cultural Exploration Through Music and Heritage

The series is an integral part of the buildup to Eurovision, consisting of eight episodes filmed in various countries across Europe. Each episode will present personal stories, musical performances, and diverse cultural elements, emphasizing how music connects people and cultures worldwide. The first four episodes are scheduled to air between April 28th and May 1st. A few days later, from May 5th to May 8th, the remaining four episodes will be broadcast, coinciding with the arrival of the 35 delegations and the start of rehearsals in Vienna.

The show will be hosted by none other than Senhit, who is set to represent San Marino at Eurovision 2026 with the song Superstar“. It is worth noting, however, that the series was filmed before her victory in the country’s national selection. In the series, the singer travels through various European cities alongside beloved Eurovision artists and fans in an entertaining format that offers cultural exploration and a fresh, engaging perspective on Europe’s favorite competition. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the band Megara, which represented San Marino at Eurovision 2024, will also join Senhit and participate in the series, alongside other fan-favorite stars to be announced later.
