Cyprus’ Eurovision 2026 representative, Antigoni shares her Eurovision 2026 rehearsal progress and her favorite past winner

Antigoni, the Cypriot representative for Eurovision 2026, speaks in a special interview with EuroMix about her favorite Eurovision song. The singer has already completed two rehearsals on the Eurovision stage and will perform as song number 8 in the second semi-final of the competition on May 14th. Ahead of the second semi-final, EuroMix conducted a short interview with the artist regarding her favorite song in the contest and her heartfelt.

Excitement for the Eurovision Stage and Rehearsal Progress

During the interview, the artist shared her favorite Eurovision song: “My Number One” by the Greek singer Helena Paparizou, the winner of Eurovision 2005. When she was a little girl, she filmed a video that was recently uploaded to the official Eurovision channel, showing her performing the song.

She also discussed the rehearsals and the preparation for her Eurovision performance: “We are still figuring things out. We try to make everything right from the cameras, the sound and everything, but I am grateful to be on stage and participate in the semi final.”




Cyprus at Eurovision 2026

JALLA” (in English: “More”) is the song that will be performed by the singer Antigoni, which will represent Cyprus as song number 8 in the second semi-final on May 14th, in Vienna, Austria. The song was written and composed by Antigoni Buxton herself, alongside Connor Mullally-Knight, Trey Qua, Claydee Lupa and Paris Kalpos. This is the first Eurovision entry by all songwriters. The song is performed in Greek and English.

Currently, Cyprus is ranked 12th in the betting tables ahead of Eurovision 2026.

Eurovision 2026: This will be Cyprus’s 42nd participation in Eurovision. Cyprus joined the competition in 1981 and achieved its best result in Eurovision 2018 when singer Eleni Foureira finished in second place with the song “Fuego”.
