Käärijä, the winner of the televote at Eurovision 2023, launches a new album – “People’s Champion”. The album includes Käärijä’s famous Eurovision song and a track describing his feelings about the competition.

Käärijä, who achieved Finland’s best Eurovision result since 2006 by placing second in the 2023 contest, while winning the public vote with his hit “Cha Cha Cha,” has released a new album. The title track directly addresses his experiences at the 2023 competition and his feelings about it.

Coinciding with the album release, Käärijä has embarked on a tour across Finland, following the recent conclusion of his European tour. Fans are encouraged to listen to the new album!




Album Composition: A Mix of Old and New

The new album features 12 tracks, including six previously released songs such as “Rouska,” featuring singer Erika Vikman, and the widely popular “Cha Cha Cha,” which earned Käärijä the title of “People’s Champion” after winning the televote at Eurovision 2023. The album also introduces six new songs, with the standout track being “People’s Champion,” which shares its name with the album that was largely produced by Aleksi Nurmi.

The song “People’s Champion” delves into Käärijä’s emotions during the 2023 Eurovision season. Käärijä’s Unique Musical Style

The album showcases Käärijä’s distinctive style, blending electronic music, rap, metal, Finnish pop, and schlager music. The sixth track, “skit,” features a dialogue between Käärijä and his therapist set to background music. Finland in Eurovision 2024

“No Rules” is the name of the song performed by Windows95man, which was chosen to represent Finland after winning the Finnish national final. Finland advanced to the final after placing seventh in the first semi-final with 59 points, and in the grand final, they reached 19th place with 38 points. This is the fourth consecutive time Finland has qualified for the final, matching their qualification streak between 2006-2009.
