ADONXS, or by his real name Adam Pavlovčin, was internally selected by the Czech national broadcaster (ČT) to represent the country at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. ADONXS’s song will be revealed in the coming months. He shares about his song: “I applied with several songs, and I am happy that one of them was ultimately successful. I can’t wait to be able to share the song with you.” ADONXS mentions that his main musical influences are Queen, Elton John, Troye Sivan, Mahmood, and others.

Song Details

The singer revealed some details about the song:“My song is uncompromising, cheeky, at times cinematic, and with room for dancing. I imagined this moment to a great extent and during the last year I focused mainly on creating new songs, with the aspiration of reaching Eurovision.
First of all, I’m really happy; participating in Eurovision has always been my big dream. At the same time, I feel a great responsibility to represent a country that has an excellent recent history in the competition, and that is my home.”

Selection Process

Head of the Czech delegation, Michal Utíkal, provided some details about the selection process:

“The candidates were first decided by a 10-member international jury consisting of 5 professionals from the field of music production and music composers, plus 5 former foreign representatives of Eurovision. The next part was quantitative research with more than 900 respondents from three foreign countries. To ratify the voting result, we conducted another research through a focus group. And ADONXS was the clear winner in all aspects.”

Who is ADONXS?

Adam Pavlovčin, or by his stage name ADONXS, is a 29-year-old singer who rose to fame in 2021 when he won the reality show “SuperStar Czech-Slovakia”. He released his debut album, “Age Of Adonxs”, in 2022. In 2022, he won the “Singer of the Year” and “Discovery of the Year” titles at the Evropa 2 radio awards. Among his biggest hits are the songs “Moving On” and “Game“. ADONXS typically performs his songs in English.

ADONXS shares that he has dreamed of representing Czechia at Eurovision since he was a little boy and that he feels the weight of responsibility on his shoulders to represent a country with a rich history in the competition. The singer currently resides in Prague, the capital of Czechia.
