Eden Golan, who proudly represented Israel in Eurovision 2024 with the song “Hurricane” and secured an impressive fifth place in the grand final in Sweden, continues to establish herself as a rising international star. On February 27, she is set to release a new single titled “Beautiful Horizon” as part of the official soundtrack for the much-anticipated series “House of David”, premiering on Amazon Prime Video. The singer shared her excitement on Instagram, stating: “So excited to be part of this project. ‘Beautiful Horizon’ is yours this Thursday.”
A Historical Drama with a Star-Studded Cast
“House of David” is a historical drama portraying the life of King David. The series follows his journey from an outcast teenager to becoming the King of Israel. Along the way, he faces Goliath (played by Martyn Ford), experiences love and loss, and navigates numerous challenges to fulfill his destiny.
The lead role of David is portrayed by Michael Iskander, known for his performance in the Tony Award-winning musical “Kimberly Akimbo”. He was selected after an extensive four-month international search. The cast also includes Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam, and Stephen Lang, recognized from “Avatar”, as the prophet Samuel.
A High-Caliber International Production
The series is produced by acclaimed filmmakers, including Jon Erwin (“Jesus Revolution”, “American Underdog”) and Jon Gunn (“Ordinary Angels”). It is created in partnership with Wonder Project and Amazon MGM Studios. The concept was developed by Erwin, with Dallas Jenkins, the creator and director of “The Chosen”, serving as a special advisor to the production.
Wonder Project is a newly established independent studio dedicated to producing high-quality theatrical films and television series. Their mission is to create inspiring stories that instill hope and reaffirm faith.

Israel in Eurovision 2024
“Hurricane” is the name of the song performed by singer Eden Golan, who was chosen to represent Israel after winning the tenth season of “HaKochav Haba”. Israel advanced to the final after winning the second semi-final with 194 points, and in the grand final reached fifth place with 375 points. In the public vote, Israel came in second place, just 14 points behind the first place.
This is the second consecutive time that Israel has reached the top five, an achievement it had not attained since its streak of successes in 1998-1999.
