When Princ finished his performance, a group of Albanian fans present in the arena began shouting. They taunted Princ, directed various slogans at him, and claimed that he was “not performing under the right flag.” According to eyewitnesses, Princ remained calm, and security immediately intervened, escorting the Albanian fans out of the venue.
The Serbian delegation quickly issued a statement clarifying that the colors on stage had no national significance. They explained that black symbolizes sorrow and red represents passion – the main emotions conveyed in the song “Mila.”
Eurovision organizers released a statement condemning the incident, stating: “The competition promotes unity and diversity; no form of political or nationalistic hostility will be tolerated.”

For this year’s performance, Princ has completely revamped his staging from the national selection. Gone are the moon prop, spinning dancer, and leather outfits. Instead, he starts center stage, singing the opening lines in shadow, as three male dancers in black join him for a contemporary routine.
He wears a sharp red suit, and at one dramatic moment, two dancers drag him down the catwalk as red and fiery visuals explode on the LED screen-a striking metaphor for the Serbian lyric, “you’ve brought life back from the edge.” Despite the demanding choreography, Princ’s vocals remain strong throughout, marking one of the most significant transformations from the national final to the Eurovision stage this year.
