Comments from RTS Eurovision Media Head
During an interview on the morning program of the RTS national broadcaster on May 26, Duška Vučinić-Lučić, responsible for Eurovision media at the broadcaster and the regular commentator of the contest, confirmed that Serbia will not withdraw from Eurovision and will participate in 2026 as well. According to her, despite questions arising around Israel’s participation in the contest, Serbia will not file an official complaint nor doubt the voting’s integrity.
She further added that, in her opinion, Serbia’s representative in the last Eurovision, Princ, would have qualified for the final if the judges, and not only the public, had voted in the semi-final stage. Vučinić-Lučić also indirectly criticized the slogan of the last contest, “United by Music,” and questioned its sincerity, but emphasized that Serbia has no intention to withdraw from the contest.
