Ukraine’s national broadcaster reveals that the final of the national selection “Vidbir 2026” will take place on February 7th. The winner of the selection will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026, set to be held in Vienna, Austria.
In recent hours, the Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne announced that February 7th has been set as the date for the final of the national selection “Vidbir 2026”, during which Ukraine’s representative for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, Austria, will be chosen. Ten contestants will compete in the selection, which will take place in about a month. The winner will be determined through a combination of public voting (50%) and jury voting (50), and will go on to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026.
Susplilne officially confirmed the news today in a post published on its Instagram account, announcing that the grand final of “Vidbir 2026” will be held on February 7th.

It should be noted that out of 15 shortlisted candidates, nine artists have already been selected and revealed as finalists in the Ukrainian national final. From the remaining six artists who did not qualify for the final, one additional artist will advance through an online vote decided exclusively by the Ukrainian public. The final finalist will be announced on January 15. In total, ten artists will compete in the grand final for the chance to represent Ukraine in the prestigious competition.

Familiar Faces Among the Finalists:

- Monokate – Ukraine’s representative at Eurovision 2020 and 2021 as part of the band Go_A, which placed fifth in 2021.

Ukraine at Eurovision 2025
“Bird of Pray” is the name of the song that was performed by Ziferblat, representing Ukraine in Eurovision 2025. Ukraine qualified for the final from the first semi-final of the contest and finished 9th overall with 218 points. Ukraine finished 6th in tele-votes and 14th in jury votes.
The Ukrainian result is their worst one since 2018.
Eurovision 2026: This will be Ukraine’s 21st participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Ukraine joined the competition in 2003 and has won it three times. Ukraine’s last victory was in Eurovision 2022 with the song “Stefania” performed by Kalush Orchestra.
