The second wave of Eurovision 2026 ticket sales in Vienna opens soon for pre-registered fans. Secure your seats for the live shows.
ORF has announced that the second wave of ticket sales for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is set to open shortly. This sale will be available exclusively to individuals who registered in advance. During the initial sale on January 13th, tickets for the Grand Final were snatched up in just 14 minutes, while all tickets for the various shows and rehearsals sold out within 20 minutes. Following technical adjustments to the venue’s layout and seating plan, additional inventory will now be released for all nine scheduled performances.
Ticket Acquisition and Registration Requirements
This year, mirroring previous procedures, fans were required to sign up for the ticket mailing list via Oeticket, register on the new Eurovision website, and create a Eurofan account. This registration process was implemented to combat the issue of resale, a common phenomenon that hinders many fans from purchasing tickets for live performances. Pre-registration has already concluded, having remained open until December 19th, 2025. It will not be possible to purchase tickets without this prior registration.
Access codes were distributed via email approximately 48 hours before the initial sale phase, provided the registration steps were completed correctly. If you did not receive the email, your unique purchase code can be found by logging into your account on the official Eurovision website under the “Tickets” category.
Consistent with last year’s system, the code is valid for all subsequent sale waves throughout the season but can only be used once to purchase up to four tickets. The code is personal and non-transferable. Furthermore, fans will be able to buy and sell tickets at their original prices through the official “fansale” platform after all sale waves have concluded.

Jury Show? Family Show? Or the Live Broadcast?
The Eurovision Song Contest will follow its traditional format of three primary events: the first Semi-Final, the second Semi-Final, and the Grand Final. The first Semi-Final is scheduled for May 12, the second for May 14, and the Grand Final will take place on May 16.
Each of these events features the main “Live TV Show” broadcast at 21:00 (CET). However, additional tickets are also available for the “Family Show”, which takes place on the afternoon of the same day. Tickets will also be sold for the rehearsal previously known as the “Jury Show”, held at 21:00 (CET) the night before the live broadcast. All rehearsals feature the full competing songs, hosts, and interval acts, though they do not include final results and may involve technical adjustments that could impact the viewing experience.
Eurovision 2026: the 70th edition of the contest will take place in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026. The Wiener Stadthalle arena, which will host the event, is expected to accommodate around 16,000 spectators per show. The contest returns to Austria following the nation’s third historic win with the song “Wasted Love”, performed by JJ. It will be Austria’s third time hosting Eurovision, after previous editions held in the country in 1967 and 2015.
