Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2026: Azerbaijan’s national broadcaster ITV has just revealed “Just Go”, which will be performed by JIVA on Eurovision 2026 stage in Vienna. Listen to the song.
“Just Go” is the title of the song that will be performed by JIVA, who will represent Azerbaijan in the first half of the second semi-final at Eurovision 2026 on May 14th. The song was written and composed by Fuad Javadov. This marks the first Eurovision participation for both the singer and the songwriter.
The song is performed in both English and Azerbaijani. The song was internally selected by the national broadcaster and was revealed today through the official Eurovision YouTube channel at 18:00 CET.
“Just Go” is a dramatic pop-rock ballad that explores the painful yet necessary process of letting go of a relationship that has become toxic or has simply run its course. The song moves from promises of eternal love to the harsh reality of emotional manipulation and fading trust.
The song’s melodic and captivating chorus emphasizes the singer’s determination to break free, as she urges the other person to “just go” and declares she will now shine on her own – erasing their presence from her soul to find healing.
“Just Go” gradually builds toward an emotional climax that blends English verses with Azerbaijani lines, adding both a tragic and universal dimension. This rich combination highlights the depth of despair and the longing for liberation from a once-passionate relationship that has turned into a burden.
JIVA – Who Are You?
JIVA, whose real name is Jamila Hashimova, is a prominent Azerbaijani pop singer. She previously performed with the renowned RAST ensemble, taking the stage at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. Later, as the lead vocalist of the band Hazz, she masterfully combined elements of jazz with contemporary pop music. Her solo career officially launched in 2017. A Triumphant Path to the European Stage

Beyond her remarkable local success, she possesses valuable experience within the European competitive sphere. In 2021, she participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist, and earlier in 2011, she reached the final trio from which Azerbaijan’s representatives for the competition were ultimately chosen.
Lyrics – “Just Go”
I carried your love inside my heart each day
I said our fire would never fade away
Your name was my dream at night
Your name when I saw the light, oh
I was yours all the way
But now I see through your disguise
The truth is parted in my eyes
Go, I don’t love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine
You know
I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I dont wanna see your face
Go, no more tears will ever flow
I’m begging you just go
You said we’d be forever side by side
You said our love would never die
But you fooled me once again
You played your little game
You burned the faith I had inside
Now every word feels like a lie
I’m done, I’m saying goodbye
Go, I dont love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine
You know
I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I dont wanna see your face
Go, no more tears will ever flow
I’m begging you juѕt go
Məni tərk et Yoruldum yalanından
Məni tərk et Bezmişəm bu oyundan
Məni tərk et Qurtulurum bu alovdan
Məni tərk et Çıx Mənim dünyamdаn
Go Go
