From Supernova to the Grand Stage in Vienna

After her sweeping victory in the Latvian “Supernova”, the singer arrived in Vienna to upgrade her iconic performance to a massive scale suitable for the world’s largest stage. The Latvian national broadcaster, LTV, chose to maintain the original concept that captured the fans’ hearts but enlarged every element to take advantage of the vast space in the Vienna Arena. The three rehearsal rounds she completed showed total command of the stage and the self-confidence of an international star.

Glass Shards and a Cinematic Upgrade

The most prominent change was noted in the dress worn by Atvara, which received a particularly sparkling upgrade with countless gemstones that have now spread along her entire arm and waist. Alongside the spectacular dress, the entire stage was flooded with countless glass shards, creating a visual effect that is simultaneously dangerous and impressive – one that surely makes the safety officials in the hall sweat. The combination of the gemstones’ glitter and the fragments scattered across the stage creates a cinematic experience that is hard to look away from.

The artist will perform her song “Ēnā” (in English: “In the Shadow”) as song number 9 in the second semi-final, a location considered strategic among the 35 participating nations, allowing her to stand out easily on the fateful night. Will the diamond dress and the sea of glass be enough to bring Latvia to the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final?
