The short video released from Austria’s second rehearsal at Eurovision 2026 opens with an explosion of energy. Cosmo is seen sprinting toward the front of the stage, delivering a remarkably precise vocal performance while maintaining non-stop movement alongside the accompanying dancers. The singer captures the audience’s attention with a performance full of charm and charisma, utilizing the German language for “Tanzschein” – a choice that adds significantly to the unique style of the entry compared to other competing songs.

From Nature Documentary to German Beats

The performance begins with a hypnotic and unconventional sight, as Cosmo is surrounded by a group of “animals” lying on the stage floor, resembling a still scene from a David Attenborough nature documentary. This silence is quickly shattered as the LED screens display the phrase: “Dance away your inner animal”. The German beat then takes over the arena in Vienna with an intensity unmatched since the start of the rehearsal week. The sharp transition from a static pose to a burst of energy marks the beginning of a nocturnal journey into the world of “Tanzschein.”

Mirror Armor and High-Altitude Choreography

At the center of the stage, giant climbing rigs have been lowered from the ceiling, upon which Cosmo and the dancers execute a complex and flawlessly synchronized choreography. The artist himself draws every eye in a bold outfit consisting of black leather trousers, a rhinestone-encrusted shirt, and a disco-ball-inspired upper piece featuring mirror armor extending along his arm. The combination of the German lyrics and the warrior-like, glittering attire creates a powerful and unforgettable stage persona that gravitates toward the cameras.

As the song reaches its climax, the stage transforms into a vibrant nightclub under a rain of colorful stroboscopic lights pulsing in time with the rhythm. The artist appears at the height of his confidence, leading his pack of animals in a single line and inviting viewers at home to join the Austrian dance craze. As Cosmo stands amidst the flashing lights of Vienna, the question is no longer whether he will stand out in the Grand Final, but whether Europe is ready for the revolution he is bringing to the stage.
