The First National Selection of the Season
As mentioned, this month will see the first national selection of the Eurovision 2025 season – Montenegro’s national final: “Montesong“. Montenegro announced its return to the competition in August 7th, after a two-year absence, a move that surprised many. In early October, Montenegro’s national broadcaster RTCG, revealed the full list of artists participating in the selection, vying to represent Montenegro in their return to the competition. Montenegro is expected to release the songs on Sunday, November 10th, just a week away. The national selection is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27th, a little over three weeks from now. We’ll be here to cover the entire selection process.
Another country set to begin its search for a Eurovision representative this month is Israel. On November 10th, broadcasts of “HaKokhav HaBa” will begin, and we’ll be here to cover all the episodes and contestants trying to inherit Eden Golan‘s title: Israel’s representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Countries Revealing Their National Selection Contestants
While most national selections are expected to take place in January and February, some countries are set to reveal their contestant lists this month. Today, Estonia will begin unveiling its contestants and song titles, a reveal that will span two days, November 4th and 5th, on the TV show “Ringvaade”. The songs themselves will be revealed on December 6th, on the TV show “Start”. The national final, Eesti Laul, is expected to feature 16 artists, with 15 chosen by a professional committee and an additional song to be chosen by the public in January by online televoting.
Countries Closing Their Submission Windows
No less than 10 countries are closing their song submission windows for national selections during November: Croatia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. An additional country, San Marino, is set to complete the audition phase for the “Una Voce Per San Marino” selection. More details on each country will be revealed later.
Eurovision Celebrations and Junior Eurovision

The tour aims to bring live performances of beloved Eurovision songs to as wide an audience as possible, catering to those who simply can’t wait until May. For those who can’t attend the upcoming performances and those who simply can’t wait until May, the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in just under two weeks. 17 countries will compete on stage in Madrid, in a show featuring children up to age 14. Those interested in watching, the contest will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at 18:00 (CET).

Eurovision 2025: This will be Switzerland’s 65th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Switzerland joined the competition in 1956, being one of the seven founding countries, and has won three times over the years. Its most recent victory was at the last Eurovision in 2025, with Nemo’s song “The Code.” This win follows Switzerland’s previous victory in 1988 with the song “Ne partez pas sans moi,” performed by international singer Céline Dion.
